Alie Marie

Been doodling, drawing on walls, book covers all my life. Studied art in high school, then later with Paddington Art School for a short time focusing on gestural drawing studies & life drawing. Later studied with the illustrious Joseph Conroy on the mid North Coast of NSW TAFE. Fine Arts through the Coffs Harbour Education Campus with Linda White studying Life Drawing, Sculpture and Ceramics. Have participated in group exhibitions, and have work with private collectors. Most of my work is currently expressed though through pattern and comes to life with a vibrancy of colour although i do love working in black and white too. Alie makes has made wooden merry go rounds for children which she later found that her Frisian grandfather had done before immigrating to Australia. Currently doing illustrations for several books that have been written..
